Ubuntu 19.04 a.k.a Disco Dingo will be released in few days. I installed it on my 2015 macbook pro.
The release plan is the following:
- Feature freeze: February 21, 2019
- UI freeze: March 14, 2019
- Kernel freeze: April 1, 2019
- Beta release date: March 28, 2019
- Final release date: April 18, 2019
The current iso image is very stable already and I downloaded it from this page: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/
the installation of my preferred applications: docker, skype, tuxguitar, nextcloud and timeshift went smooth and everything is working fine.
